Callie helps property owners get quotes from local service contractors. You text us what broke; we call contractors, collect quotes, and text you a comparison.
Your name and mobile number when you provide them; the maintenance issues you text us; the general property area you give us (city or ZIP); quotes and availability collected from contractors on your behalf; and recordings and transcripts of the calls our assistant makes to contractors, which we keep so your reports are accurate and disputable.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your phone number with contractors: they see our number, not yours. We do not use your information for advertising. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
We text you only after you contact us first or submit our web form and confirm by replying YES. Message frequency varies with your active jobs (typically a handful of messages per job). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP any time to opt out and HELP for help. No purchase is required.
We share job details (the problem, area, and access windows — never your number) with contractors so they can quote. We use service providers to operate: Twilio (calls and texts), speech and language processing vendors used during calls, and cloud hosting. Each receives only what the service requires.
We keep job records, recordings, and transcripts while your account is active. Text us DELETE (or email davidcui824@gmail.com) to request deletion of your account and associated data; we honor requests within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.
Callie also builds software for rental property owners. To tell owners about it, we maintain a small outreach database, separate from the customer records above. Here is what is in it, where it comes from, and your choices.
What it holds. Business contact information about rental property owners and managers: name (individual or business entity), mailing address of record, property and parcel information (address, unit count, registration and lead-certificate status), phone number, and email address. That is the entire list. We do not collect or infer anything sensitive: no race, ethnicity, religion, health, financial account, biometric, precise location, or similar data, about anyone, ever.
Where it comes from. Government records — the Rhode Island Rental Registry (RI Department of Health, R.I. Gen. Laws § 34-18-58), municipal property tax rolls, code-enforcement records, and other public records — plus publicly listed business contact information and contact-lookup services that work from public and commercially available records. We do not buy data about consumers or scrape private accounts.
Why. One purpose: to contact rental property owners about Callie's property-management software, by phone, mail, or email. We do not use this data for advertising profiles, credit or tenant screening, or any eligibility decision of any kind.
How long. If we have not been able to reach you and you have not become a customer, we delete your record after 12 months. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only the minimum needed (for example, your phone number) on a permanent suppression list so we never contact you again; that entry is never deleted, because deleting it would risk contacting you again.
We never sell this data. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share it with anyone for money or anything else of value. It is used only by Callie to reach out to you.
Your choices. Stop all contact: tell us once, by any channel, and you go on the permanent suppression list, effective immediately. Deletion: ask and we delete your record, keeping only the suppression entry if you also want no further contact. Correction: if something we have is wrong (for example, you sold the property), tell us and we fix or delete it. No forms, no verification maze — an email or a sentence on a phone call is enough. We respond within 30 days, usually much faster.
